Changes to AP Exam Registration for 2019-2020

As the school year begins and students settle into classes, we want to remind you of some changes from the College Board related to Advanced Placement examinations. Beginning in the 2019-20 school year, the College Board has shifted the timeline for Advanced Placement exam registration and payment. The cost of exams ($98) has not changed, but the regular registration window has moved to the fall. The College Board is now asking students to register for exams between September 23 and November 1, 2019. Advanced Placement exams will be given between May 5-8 and May 11-15, 2020.

Students who register after November 1, 2019 for an Advanced Placement exam will be charged a $40 late registration fee by the College Board. Late registration is possible from November 2 through March 1. Be on the lookout for information from your teacher(s) and your school with additional details on how to register for your Advanced Placement exams.
