Neuqua Students Earn Seal of Biliteracy

The World Languages and English Learner Department is proud to announce that the following 39 seniors at Neuqua Valley High School have earned the distinguished Seal of Biliteracy.  The Seal of Biliteracy is an award given by the district and state in recognition of students who have studied and attained proficiency in two or more languages by high school graduation. The Seal of Biliteracy encourages students to pursue biliteracy, honors the skills our students attain and can be evidence of skills that are attractive to future employers and college admissions offices.

Additionally, 50 seniors have earned the Commendation Toward the Seal of Biliteracy this year. The State Commendation toward Biliteracy is a recognition given to graduating high school students who have demonstrated significant progress toward achieving a high level of proficiency in English in reading, writing, listening and speaking in another language.

Congratulations!  These outstanding seniors are truly global-ready. We honor their commitment to language and global citizenship.  Go Wildcats!
