As a former physical education teacher and assistant football coach, he has impacted the lives of many over the years. Importance Updates from Guidance for 2017-18

Dear Wildcat Families,
The 2017-18 school year begins Thursday, August 24th, and we are excited to get started! Here are a few tips to help you begin your school year smoothly.
  1. Schedules are now viewable in Home Access Center. We are unable to accommodate any schedule change requests. If there is an error or an extenuating circumstance that has arisen, please contact your assigned counselor for review. Please log in to Home Access to view your schedule. Counselors are finishing last minute enrollments and balancing of classes. Print your finalized schedule on August 23rd, and bring it with you to school on Thursday. NV will not be printing schedules. We thank you for your cooperation to save on resources! To view your locker combination and network/Google/log in information, log in to HAC. From the home page, click School Links. Click Additional Information. Re-enter your login information to view.
  2. Transcripts will be updated and viewable in Home Access on Thursday, August 17th. Students in grades 10-12, please log in and review your transcript. If you see an error (e.g., summer course missing), please email your assigned counselor for assistance.
  3. Families who have NVHS graduates, please let your alumni know that all alumni transcripts are now available through the online service Parchment. Please direct them to the NVHS webpage, click on the Alumni Transcripts link, create an account with Parchment, and request transcripts. Alumni can request and pay for transcripts directly. This has greatly simplified and sped up the transcript request process. We are no longer able to accept paper requests/checks.
  4. Beginning with the 2017-18 school year, District 204 high schools will no longer include +/- on report cards and transcripts. D204 high school grading scales do not differentiate GPA with +/-; this update aligns the GPA and grading scale. As in past years, please be advised that percentages are not rounded up.
The Guidance Department looks forward to a great school year partnering with all of our Wildcat families.
