Senior College Information and Application Night

Senior students and parents save the date!

NVHS will be hosting Senior College Information and Application Night on Tuesday, September 2nd in our school Auditorium. Senior students and parents are both encouraged to attend.

6:30 p.m. for families with last names A-L
8:00 p.m. for families with last names M-Z

Information, procedures and tips will be discussed on the college application and transcript request process, The Common Application and Naviance tools. For questions or more information, please contact Sandy Schuller, Director of Guidance or Chad Allen, Senior Counselor. 

Skater's Picnic

Skaters of all ages and their families are invited to the 11th Annual Skaters’ Picnic from 11 am to 2 pm on Saturday, August 30 at the Centennial Beach Skate Park in downtown Naperville. This free event is hosted by KidsMatter, the Naperville Police Department, and the Park District Police. Skaters will be provided with a free lunch, a free raffle ticket for amazing prizes, and a free t-shirt to the first 100 skaters. Character Skateboards will bring professional skaters to perform skate demonstrations. Other highlights include a doughnut eating contest, a pie eating competition, and skateboard games.

Start the School Year Smoothly

Just a few last minute reminders before classes begin Tuesday, August 26th to help your school year start smoothly:
·         Log in to your Home Access Center (HAC) account the day before school starts to view and print your finalized schedule.
·         Click on the School Links tab, then click “Add’l Student Information” to view your Network ID and password, and your locker number and combination.
·         Students unable to log in to HAC should contact their Class House to finalize all registration and residency paperwork.
·         Questions about using HAC?
·         Transportation questions? Log in to HAC.
o   Log in with a parent ID, and Transportation information is viewable on the default home page.
o    Log in with a student ID, click on the Registration tab and scroll down to the Transportation section.
·         This year’s Network IDs and emails have changed. Your Network ID is your first name, the first three letters of your last name, and the last four digits of your ID #. Email is the same. (e.g. John Student #1000401 is
·         Grade 9 will begin their day in Advisory class and grades 10-12 will begin with a Homeroom. Students will receive important first day information and their IDs. All students may check their Advisory/Homeroom assignments outside their Class Houses on Day One.
