Homecoming Chaperones Needed!

Neuqua Valley Homecoming 2016—THE ROARING 20’s Each year we ask for parent volunteers to help with serving refreshments and door supervision at the Homecoming Dance. This would involve arriving at the dance by 6 p.m. The dance ends at 10 p.m. This year's Homecoming Dance is Saturday, September 17th. Dinner and a Homecoming T-shirt are included with this fabulous opportunity. Please respond before THURSDAY, September 15, if you are interested in helping. PTSA Chipotle Fundraiser - Wednesday, August 31st

Mark your back to school calendars!!! Come out and support NVHS with our first restaurant night of the year. Come into the Chipotle at 2856 S. Route 59 in Naperville on Wednesday, August 31st between 4 and 8:30 and Chipotle will generously donate 50% of all sales back to the NVHS PTSA. Simply bring the attached flyer or tell the cashier at check out that you are supporting NVHS. When you support the NVHS PTSA you are supporting our students and teachers in many ways throughout the school year.




Senior College Application Night - Wednesday, 8/24

Senior College Application Night
Class of 2017 Students and Parents/Guardians--Please join us for Senior College Application Night on Wednesday, August 24th at 6:30pm (last names A-L) or 8:00pm (last names M-Z) in the NV Main Auditorium. This is a very important evening for senior families to attend. We will be discussing how the application process works including sending your applications, transcripts, and standardized test scores. The PowerPoint presentation slides and handout will be posted on The Neuqua Guidance Page after the program.

Class of 2017: College Application Processing
The Senior Class House will begin processing college applications and transcript requests on Thursday, September 1st. According to the National Association of College Admissions Counseling, colleges and universities are discouraged from beginning the application process prior to September 1st each year. NVHS follows the recommendations of this national organization.

2016-17 NVHS Student Schedules in Home Access 8/15

Dear Wildcat Families:

The 2016-17 school year begins Tuesday, August 23rd , and we are excited to get started! Here are a few tips to help you begin your school year smoothly. Schedules will be viewable in Home Access Center on Monday, August 15th at 7:00 am. We are unable to accommodate any schedule change requests. If there is an error or an extenuating circumstance that has arisen, please contact your assigned counselor for review.

Please log in Home Access to view your schedule. Counselors are finishing last minute enrollments and balancing of classes. Print your finalized schedule on August 22nd, and bring it with you to school on Tuesday. NV will not be printing schedules. We thank you for your cooperation to save on resources!
To view your locker combination and network/Google/log in information, log in to HAC. From the home page, click School Links. Click Additional Information. Re-enter your login information to view.

Wildcat Wear - 2016 - 2017 Neuqua Spirit Wear

A new year brings a new look and all new products to the Wildcat Wear Store!  We have everything you need to show your school spirit.  Even our little Neuqua fans can show their support, youth sizes are now available.  For those who are hard to buy for, pick up a Wildcat Wear Gift Certificate.
  • Hours at Main Campus: Every Friday 9:15 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. throughout the school year. (Parents and Students)
  • Hours at Birkett Center: Every Friday 10:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. August through December. (Students Only)
Wildcat Wear is also available during all home football games and one advertised night for each of the following sports:  boys basketball, girls basketball, wrestling, boys volleyball and girls volleyball.

Wildcat Wear will also be open for these special events at Neuqua:

  • Wednesday, September 7 - Red, White and Blue Theme Night vs WVHS

Google Training for Parents

District 204 is partnering with the Naperville Public Library to offer free parent education opportunities related to Google, Chromebooks, and Google Classroom. District and library staff collaborated to develop the content for the training, which will be led by library staff. Each session will contain the same information.
All sessions will last one hour and be held at the Naperville Public Library's 95th Street location at 3015 Cedar Glade Dr. The first 45 minutes will be a presentation and the last 15 minutes will be for questions. Parents do not need to register in advance to attend and students are welcome to attend with parents.
