Attend College of DuPage's 9th annual Explore Engineering Night on Friday, November 11th from 6-9 p.m. It is a free event designed to introduce students to the different engineering majors and learn what an engineer does on the job.The evening begins with a presentation on the engineering field to inform students about different majors and how they relate to the courses they are taking in high school (chemistry, physics, mathematics, biology, and economics). The second presentation will be interactive and help students see how an engineer thinks and views how the world around them was designed. We will end with a breakout session where students can see the universities give a presentation on their different programs, student organizations, societies, and life on campus.
Students will be able to speak with each of these schools, ask questions, and gather information about each school’s engineering programs. These schools include: Bradley University, Illinois Institute of Technology, Northern Illinois University, Northwestern, Southern Illinois University Carbondale, University of Illinois Chicago, and University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
