Free Event - Your Choice: A Family’s Journey to Recovery - October 28th

Although most young people make good choices when it comes to drugs and alcohol, there will always be those that make choices not conducive to a healthy lifestyle. As a result, Partnership for Prevention is excited to bring you a prevention program to help keep the young people of this community on the right track.

Your Choice is a nonprofit organization founded by the Lybert family - Sandi, Rick, Ashleigh and Tyler. Tyler struggled with drugs and alcohol for 11 years before completing treatment in 2008. Having experienced the devastation of Tyler’s drug abuse, the Lyberts came together to educate teens and adults about alcohol and other drugs and offer help and support to those in need.

Parents are the most powerful influence in their children’s lives. Children who learn about the risks of drugs and alcohol from their parents are 50% less likely to use than those who don't (National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence).

This is a free event open to the entire community
For questions about this event, please contact Claudia Evenson at cevenson@rosecrance.org or 630.849.4295
