The Naperville Public Library on 95th Street has started a Girls Who Code Club for girls ranging from middle school to high school with all levels of experience. Girls Who Code seeks to close the gender gap in computer science.
The forty-hour club curriculum covers basic computer science topics, such as loops and conditionals, in addition to mobile app development and more! Throughout the club's duration, students may also get the chance to listen to "women in tech" speakers and attend field trips. At the end of the club, students will build their own projects to impact the community.
The club will take place on Fridays from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM every week at the Naperville Public Library on 95th Street, located next to Neuqua Valley High School. The information meeting date is TBD, but please contact email@example.com if interested, as spots are limited.
