PTSA Reflections Update

The Neuqua Valley High School PTSA congratulates all the students who shared their insights and talents in the 2013-2014 Reflections competition. This year’s theme was Believe, Dream, Inspire and once again NVHS was represented by an extraordinary group of talented young people. 

The Indian Prairie Parents Council Recognition Ceremony and Exhibition will be held on Tuesday, April 8 from 6:30-8:30 at Granger Middle School in the Stonebridge Subdivision in Aurora. Kudos to the following students: Freshman Anna Li’s visual arts entry titled In Search of Light advanced to the State of Illinois level of the competition.
The following students received Honorable Mention at the State of Illinois level:
  • Junior Zhaoyuan Pan’s visual arts entry titled Believe, Dream, Inspire
  • Sophomore Isabelle Ruiz's photography entry titled Jump for the Stars Freshman Anna Li’s visual arts entry titled In Search of Light advanced to the State of Illinois level of the competition. 
The following students received Honorable Mention at the State of Illinois level:
  • Junior Zhaoyuan Pan’s visual arts entry titled Believe, Dream, Inspire

The following students were honored during the Illinois PTA DuPage West Region Reflections Ceremony on March 4. Receiving Honorable Mention were:

  • Sophomore Sophia Urso's visual arts entry titled Inspiration From the Past
  • Sophomore Sophia Urso's visual arts entry titled Any Dream is Possible
It’s a great honor to announce that Sophomore Sarvasva Raghuvanshi’s literature entry titled A Simple Gift remains in the competition, advancing to the National level in Washington D.C. Best of luck to Sarvasva at Nationals!
The NVHS community and the PTSA are extremely proud to be represented by these fine and talented young people. The Reflections committee extends hearty congratulations and thanks to all the students who entered the 2013-2014 Reflections program.
